About Us

Amuure Holistic Healing is a mobile and fixed-based therapy business operating in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing specialized therapeutic and holistic treatment for a wide range of clients. As well as providing traditional therapy and massage – including Swedish massage, deep tissue and sports massage – we also provide therapy for clients who are recovering from injury or require specialized treatment, including myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, myoskeletal muscle alignment techniques (MAT), medical massage, oncology massage and pre-natal massage.

Amuure Holistic Healing is led by Kenisha Ama’anii, a fully-licensed and experienced therapist based in Minnesota.

Kenisha has over 19 years experience in the health and wellness industry, with 10 years as a licensed massage therapist. Kenisha holds an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy with Massage Therapy focus from the Swedish Institute, College of Health &  Sciences in New York City.

    Meet Queen – Certified Sisterlocktician, Natural Hair Specialist, Urban Herbalist

    Queen’s work with locs is more than styling—it’s sacred care. Her journey into natural hair began with a shift in consciousness, sparked in 2009 by the documentary Good Hair. What started as personal liberation became a professional calling rooted in identity, artistry, and ancestral wisdom.

    She trained for five years under Twin Cities legend Michael Kuykindall (The MicOne), refining her skill in traditional loc artistry and becoming a certified Sisterlocktician—one of the most intricate and revered techniques in natural hair care. She founded Locks by Queen with the same hands that once braided for survival and now create transformation.

    But Queen’s gifts go deeper than hair. As an urban farmer and budding herbalist, she grows medicinal plants and formulates scalp-healing products that treat the crown from root to spirit. Every appointment is an experience of affirmation—where confidence grows, beauty is reclaimed, and your hair is honored as a story worth telling.
